How It Works

Docu-Denton 7K is a documentary video race in which teams will have 7,200 minutes to create a short documentary on a randomly drawn topic. Are you ready to race?

The Race is: February 8-13

The Screening is: February 16 @ 1:30PM (Campus Theatre)

Here's how it works:

1. Register your team online. Teams can have 1 or more members. The registration fee is $150.
2. Attend the Docu-Intensive Workshop with documentary filmmaker Mark Birnbaum. (max of 4 team members)
3. Draw a topic at the race kick-off (Feb 8, 5:00 @ Campus Theatre).
4. You and your team will have 7,200 minutes (five days) to create a short documentary (4-8 Minutes).
5. Turn in your video at the finish line - Wednesday, February 13th @ 5PM at the Campus Theatre Lobby. Don't be late!
6. Attend the screening of all DocuDenton videos February 16th @ 1:30PM at the Campus Theatre.
